Eggstravaganza (Easter Egg Hunt in Mill Creek)

On Saturday, April 11th, Amelia attended her first official Easter egg hunt! It was a cool, blustery morning but lots of families showed up in search of Easter eggs. They had face painting (Amelia has an easter egg painted on her face), refreshments, and other fun kid activities to enjoy. We have a before and after photo of the "hunt". They split it up into age groups to make it fair for everyone--but the eggs were gone in under a minute!

April 2009

While Daddy was out of town on business, Mommy and Amelia had lots of laughs. We played ball outside, went for walks, and visited Grandpa and Grandpa Matin. They had a special early birthday present for Amelia--a tricyle. She and Grandpa has some serious lessons together. The helmet was a challenge at first, but I think once she figures out the petals she'll have figured out the helmet too!

March 2009

March was a busy month for Amelia. She has been working on learning new words and reading lots of library books. Mommy's friend, Heather, came for a visit from Wichita. We spent a couple of beautiful spring days exploring Seattle, going to the Space Needle, Seattle Center, Kirkland Waterfront, and to the wineries with the grown-ups. Luckily, she is still taking naps to keep from getting too exhausted!
